Humans have a huge amount of trouble doing the simplest things in life, like following directions. These are often little things like circling answers on a survey. Often people star the answers, or number the answers. I know I often miss a small thing on a test, like a number being negative, or having to use fractions instead of decimals. Its amazing how well people do complex things like creating a computer, or creating a product. Strangely, those same people just can't do little things, like follow directions or meet requirements for an essay. Anyway, sorry about that rambling slice, but I thought it was interesting.

That's true, but it's so much more fun to not follow directions and be a hipster.
